SINGLE BANK FULL FLOODED MODEL
Single
bank-full flooded units are available for latent heat storage systems up to 80,000 lb of
ice capacity. The piping is fabricated into serpentine coil assemblies called circuits and
are arranged in columns. These units incorporate the use of a surge drum conforming
to A.S.M.E. standards. The surge drum is used to maintain separation of the gas and
liquids within the coil assembly. Components used in the system include a float switch,
liquid line with manual expansion valve, solenoid valve and strainer, shut off valve, dual
pressure relief valve assembly and an optional large suction shut off valve. All
components are shown in the photo. |
DOUBLE BANK FULL FLOODED MODEL
Double
bank-full flooded systems are available to 105,000 lb ice capacity. This equipment
incorporates two separate single bank coil assemblies installed in one common tank. Each
coil assembly is piped to one common surge tank and served by one common liquid leg. Dual
coil assemblies are used to reduce the pressure loss and increase operating efficiency. As
with all coil assemblies, each system is completely assembled, welded and tested in our
shop prior to shipment. |
